Series Guide: Elle Kennedy - Briar Universe

If you have recently picked up one of Elle Kennedy's latest releases you might be wondering why people are saying to start at the beginning of a different series. Although the three series are listed under seperate series names they are all interconnected in some way. The main connection being the university they attend (Briar University).

• Campus Diaries

Off Campus is the very beginning of this interconnected series with four books. The Deal, The Mistake, The Score & The Goal. These four book follow the story of four hockey players who live in an off-campus building each of the four men having a book to tell their story. The fifth book The Legacy was added later and is an add-on (extended epilogue) for each main character.

The second series is Briar U, four more books following the women of Briar University and their own hockey playing main male characters. The Chase, The Risk, The Play, The Dare. These books have a slight connection through characters from the original series.

And finally the latest edition to the Briar Universe is the Campus Diaries.
The first book The Graham Effect follows the daughter of Garrett Graham the main male character of The Deal because this is a completely different timeline it is not imperative to read the previous books to enjoy Gigi's story however there are quite a lot of characters mentioned from the first series and it definitely creates a full experience if you have read the previous books. 

If you would prefer not to read 9 books before reading The Graham Effect, I would suggest reading The Deal first and that will help with following some of the side characters. Also it might just inspire you to complete the whole series. It really is worth it. 

 
We also know that the next book in the Campus Diaries Series is The Charlie Method and is estimated to be released February 2025.
